Design is in the details: Vegas Edition
Updated: Apr 4, 2019
Just a little rant about the importance of not forgetting about the details when designing.
Whenever you are designing something, you need to take into consideration the use-case and the user, the experience, and the context and environment in which it will be used/viewed. If you don't... you will end up with a GIANT parting line, right at eye level that distracts people from the beauty of the exhibit/work/product you created. Art and design are so much about experience that we must make sure not to suddenly rip the user out of their context of awe, simply by the poor placement of a parting line., especially when the individuals walking through are fellow designers and engineers. ;-)
For the record, these photos were taken at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. One of the fanciest hotels on the Vegas strip.
